The natural hydrating properties of honey trap and seal the moisture in the skin leaving it soft and supple. Used in almost everything (suitable for sensitive skin), beauticians recommend using honey quite liberally for glowing complexion and shiny hair. All skin and hair care products such bubble baths, shower products, face creams, moisturizers, body scrubs, skin lotions, hair conditioners, etc., even baby products contain honey.

- Add ? cup of honey to bath water for soft and supple skin.
- Mix 1tsp honey, vegetable oil each, ? tsp lemon juice. Rub on to the dry parts of your skin. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse of with water.Mix ? cup honey, ? cup (for dry hair) or 2 tbsp olive oil (for normal to oily hair). Start by applying small amount of the mixture onto the hair till all is covered. Wrap with a warm towel or shower cap for 30 minutes. Shampoo well, rinse and drying the normal way.
- For shiny lustrous locks, mix 1tsp honey with 4 cups of warm water. After shampoo, pour the mixture through hair. Don't rinse, dry as normal.
- Gather 1 tbsp of honey, 1 egg yolk, ? tsp almond oil and 1 tbsp yoghurt. Apply on face, neck and other dry body area. Leave it for 10 - 15 minutes and rinse off with water. Your skin feels moisturized, refined and pores tightened.
- For silky clean skin, put 1/3 cup of honey, ? buttermilk and 3 tsp rosewater in a closed container and shake well to mix all the ingredients. Apply to your face and neck, avoid the sensitive areas around the eyes. Massage well with your fingers for sometime. Rinse with warm temperature. Store it in a tightly closed container and bring to room temperature before use.
- Place a cloth in warm water; apply to your face to open the pores. Smear on honey, leaving it for 20 - 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, and dash off with cold water to close the pores. Do it once a week.
- Add the goodness of honey to the egg white mask. Whisk 1tbsp of honey, 1 egg white, 1 tsp glycerin and flour to make a past. Smooth over face and throat. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash it warm water.
