With different consumption queen bee has a size much larger than ordinary bees (40% larger) and more severe (60% heavier). Another Greatness of God's creation in the form of the queen bee is in terms of reproduction, although queens mate only once in his life - queen bee can lay eggs in excess of body weight every day - Subhannallah.
In all such greatness, science has not fully reveal what really is contained in Royal Jelly this. What is revealed is the general content such as water content around 60% -70%, protein 13%, carbohydrate 15%, 5% fat and other organic substances is about 1%. What also is known is Royal Jelly contains all the essential amino acids and non essential, carbohydrates in the form of fructose and glucose, fat is composed of fatty acids and saturated and unsaturated phospholipids. Vitamins are contained in it are all kinds of vitamin B, vitamin A, C, D, E and K.
Other components that have been detected include collagen is a protein that is essential for the health and growth of tissue,
skin,
hair, nails, bones, muscles and reinforcing walls and channels in our body. Enzymes contained therein include the enzymes superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase and glutathione peroxidase. Existing nucleid acid includes DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA (ribonucleic acid).
In addition to these substances were also detected in the presence of gamma globulins Royal Jelly is very important for immunization, and methyl p-hydroxybenzoat (methyl paraben) for anti-oxidant.
As the old queen food very, very long compared with ordinary bee, then, of course, Royal Jelly has various benefits of treatment include:
- Treating the infection in the stomach, varicose, dyspepsia, impotence, fatigue, anorexia, impotence, infertility, viral and bacterial infections. Scientific research on this subject have been conducted in China, Russia and the countries of the former eastern bloc.
- Increase the body's immunity as evidenced from studies in Sarajevo when the epidemic. Patients who were given royal jelly only 9% who contract the disease while the patient is not given its Royal Jelly 40% infected.
- Research in Japan in 2001 proves that the Royal Jelly effective to treat fatique and stress.
- Royal Jelly lower cholesterol and triglyceride as shown in the results of research in China in 1995. The research proved to Royal Jelly lowering LDL is the bad cholesterol and raise HDL is good cholesterol.
- Royal Jelly ability to lower blood pressure also proven through research in Japan in 2004.
- Vitamin A, C and E that is in the Royal Jelly work synergistically with carotenoids prevent skin damage due to chemicals or the sun and also further reduce the risk of skin cancer.
- Many existing nutrients in Royal Jelly, antimicrobial proteins, various enzymes and gamma globulin to work together to prevent infection and stimulate the body's immunity.
- HDA and short chain saturated fatty acids contained in Royal Jelly function similar to detergents which destroy the cell membranes of bacteria, fungi and viruses. HDA also serves to prevent atheroclerosis.
- Several B vitamins are contained in Royal Jelly is rich in hormones, phytosterols and phospholipids lowered cholesterol and this makes people 'ageless'.
Royal Jelly is very easily damaged, and therefore should always be stored in a frozen state. Another way to preserve Royal Jelly is to mix it into honey.
Consumption of Royal Jelly for food supplements and preventive treatment is one to two grams per day. For curative treatment of various diseases mentioned above, the consumption of Royal Jelly can be increased between 4 to 7 grams per day.
